Australia’s assistant coach Daniel Vettori is expected to be absent from the team’s first Test against India in Perth. Vettori has prior commitments as the head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad, and he will be attending the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction on behalf of the franchise.
The first Test between Australia and India is scheduled to start on November 22 at the Perth Stadium. Vettori’s absence may be felt, but the Australian team is well-equipped with experienced support staff to manage his responsibilities during the first Test.
