Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources have denied reports suggesting that the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be hosted in a hybrid model, with India’s matches potentially being held in the UAE Ā¹. This clarification comes ahead of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) scheduled announcement of the Champions Trophy schedule in the second week of November.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has stated that all matches will be played in Pakistan, and there’s been no consideration given to a hybrid model Ā¹. The PCB is committed to hosting a successful tournament, with upgrades underway at three iconic venues in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi Ā¹ Ā².
India’s participation remains uncertain due to security concerns and the need for government approval Ā³ ā“. However, the PCB has proposed an arrangement to facilitate India’s participation, including travel logistics that would allow the Indian team to return home between matches ā“.
